Proud to See Our Microplastics Research Partner Featured on Good Morning America

Microplastics have moved from a niche scientific concern into a mainstream health conversation. That shift matters, because people are no longer just asking whether microplastics are present in daily life. They are asking what they can reasonably do about it.
That is why we were proud to see Dr. Marcus Garcia, a friend of Sifts and an active research partner who is conducting microplastic testing on Sifts to help us evaluate its performance and better understand its role in microplastic defense, featured on Good Morning America discussing how to help reduce exposure to microplastics.
At Sifts, we believe credibility has to be earned through careful research, serious partnerships, and a willingness to follow the evidence where it leads. Dr. Garcia’s appearance on a national platform reflects the growing importance of this field and the caliber of scientific voices helping the public understand it with more clarity.
This is also a reminder of why we started building Sifts: to give health-conscious people a more advanced way to think about everyday exposure, internal resilience, and microplastic support. No single product replaces exposure reduction, better materials, or smart daily habits. But thoughtful formulation, guided by active testing and real-world research, can play a meaningful role within a broader microplastic strategy.
We are grateful to work alongside people who are helping bring rigor and visibility to this conversation. Congratulations to Dr. Garcia and the UNM team on the GMA feature. We are proud to call him a friend and partner in this work.
